A Federal High Court in Calabar, presided over by Justice Rosemary Oghoghorie, convicted Felix Iorlumun, 18, Silas Shie, 19, and Samuel Moses, 27, on charges of conspiracy and transporting a two-year-old boy by abduction for exploitation. The court found them guilty on all counts in Charge No. FHC/CA/160C/2026, brought by the Cross River State Command of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons. The offences contravene Sections 13 and 27 of the Trafficking in Persons (Prohibition), Enforcement and Administration Act 2015. The victim, Wisdom Emmanuel Achua, was abducted from Bunyia Community in Cross River State and was being taken to Benue State.
