The family of Flight Lieutenant Tarila Lokoja Lazarus, a Nigerian Air Force officer who died in a recent aircraft crash in Ondo, has shared their grief. His uncle, Maxwell Lazarus Benjamin, recounted how Tarila was initially unsuccessful in gaining admission to the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) after completing his university education and obtaining a master's degree. Benjamin described Tarila as humble, calm, focused, and academically brilliant, and noted that he screamed with joy upon finally being admitted to the NDA.
