Crypto industry figures are warning that AI-accelerated breakthroughs in mathematics could compromise blockchain wallet security. Justin Drake, a researcher at Ethereum, advised people on X to enter "bunker mode" by moving funds to fresh addresses, citing OpenAI models' ability to solve previously unsolved equations. Ethereum cofounder Vitalik Buterin also said crypto wallets need to become more secure in light of such developments.
