Deputy President Shipokosa Paul Mashatile has officially resumed work following his full recovery. The Office of the Deputy President expressed appreciation to South Africans and stakeholders for their messages of goodwill and support during his recovery period. In the coming days, Mashatile is expected to chair Cabinet Committees, attend the Mid-Term Budget Policy Statement, engage inter-faith communities and respond to Oral Questions in the National Council of Provinces. The Office also commended the media for monitoring his healing progress.
