Labour gives FG two-week ultimatum to revert petrol price to 2024 level

Organised Labour has issued a two-week ultimatum to the Federal Government to revert petrol prices to their level before the signing of the current national minimum wage in 2024. The labour union also demanded that negotiations for a new minimum wage commence before the end of October. The demands were contained in a communiqué signed by NLC President Joe Ajaero after a joint meeting of the National Executive Council and Central Working Committee.
