Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa visited the site of a Nigerian Air Force aircraft crash at Igbokoda, Ilaje Local Government Area, three days after the accident. The governor described the incident as a national tragedy and noted that no survivor had been found. About 25 persons were on board, and the main body of the plane is believed to have sunk deep into the swamp. Rescue teams, including naval and Air Force personnel, divers, and emergency management officials, continued recovery efforts.
