The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) announced in a statement on Thursday that Lassa Fever has resulted in 263 deaths nationwide. The figures were contained in the Lassa Fever Situation Report for epidemiological week 38, which covers September 14 to September 20. The reported deaths represent a Case Fatality Rate (CFR) of 23.6 per cent.
