Oduwole Lists FMITI’s Contributions Toward Attaining Nigeria’s Aspiration for $1trn Economy

The Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment (FMITI) has reported progress in Nigeria's efforts to achieve a $1 trillion economy by 2030. Minister Dr. Jumoke Oduwole presented figures showing capital importation rose from $3.91 billion in 2023 to $23.22 billion in 2025. Foreign direct investment also increased to $0.92 billion in 2025 from $0.38 billion in 2023 and $0.68 billion in 2024. The non-oil share of export earnings grew from 11.7% in 2024 to 14.5% in 2025, with non-oil export revenue reaching N12.36 trillion across over 120 countries.
