Sheikh Isah Solahudeen Akindele, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Shari'ah in Nigeria (SCSN), has mourned the passing of Dr. Nafiu Baba-Ahmed, the Council's Secretary-General. Baba-Ahmed died in Abuja. Akindele described him as an asset to the Muslim Ummah, noting that he died working for Islam and Muslims, especially in the South-West.
