Ottawa police have increased security around several Muslim schools after threatening emails were sent to Muslim Association of Canada schools and centres on Sept. 20 and Oct. 6. The police service stated it is in contact with community leaders and has boosted police presence around affected locations. This follows threats to nine schools across Canada on Sept. 25.
