Operatives of the Bayelsa State Police Command have arrested more than 20 suspected cultists in raids across several communities. The operation, ordered by Commissioner of Police Ajao Saka Adewale, targeted cultism hotspots including Swali, Akenfa, Down Yenagoa, and Agudama. Police Public Relations Officer DSP Musa Mohammed confirmed the arrests, and the crackdown has prompted some communities to distance themselves from cult groups.
