Senator Adams Oshiomhole has challenged former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi to explain how he saved $156 million during his tenure. Oshiomhole, representing Edo North, raised the question during an interview with Symfoni TV, noting that federal allocations to states were paid in naira. He recalled that when governors sought dollar allocations due to exchange rate disparities, the Federal Government rejected the proposal, insisting the naira was Nigeria's recognized currency.
