A 55-year-old motorist narrowly escaped death on Thursday evening when a moving train collided with his Honda car at the PWD Railway Line in Lagos. The train was travelling inward Agege when it hit the vehicle with registration number EKY 902 JT. The car was extensively damaged and rendered a complete write-off, but the driver escaped without injury. Operatives of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority and security personnel responded swiftly, rescuing the driver and removing the wreckage from the track, allowing the train to resume its journey.
