Tata says its workforce strategy won't be affected by PERM suspensions and is hiring 15,000 more workers

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) stated that the Trump administration's new restrictions on employment-based green card filings will not affect its hiring plans in the US. In a stock exchange filing on Friday, TCS said it had submitted only a single-digit number of applications through the Permanent Labor Certification (PERM) process over the past two years. The company reaffirmed its plan to hire 15,000 workers in the US, emphasizing that its workforce strategy is anchored in hiring local talent and supported by campus recruitment.
