Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri has imposed a 24-hour curfew on Biseni community in Yenagoa Local Government Area with immediate effect. The governor acted after receiving briefings from security commanders on the breakdown of law and order, where some elements barricaded roads and made bonfires. He directed security operatives to restore law, order, peace, and security in the community. Responsible members of the community were advised to remain law-abiding as the government continues to ensure safety of lives and property.
