Troops of Operation Fansan Yamma recovered and neutralised two explosive devices planted by terrorists along the Magami-Hannutara-Dansadau road in Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State. The operation followed credible intelligence about threats to commuters. Sector 2 troops secured the area and discovered the two locations where the devices were planted. An Explosive Ordnance Disposal team destroyed one device and safely rendered the other harmless, averting potential casualties.
