Anthropic has updated its usage policy for the AI chatbot Claude, with changes taking effect on November 12. The revisions include clarifications on deceptive campaigns, elections, weapons development, surveillance, law enforcement, and Claude-connected hardware. The company stated that most changes were intended to clarify existing rules. A new section titled 'Do Not Engage in Deceptive Campaigns or Artificial Activity' was added.
