Abia voters fume as INEC staff abandon PVC collection centre

Eligible voters in Umuahia, Abia State, expressed frustration over the absence of INEC officials at designated PVC collection centres on the opening day of nationwide collection. At Ugba Primary School and School Road Primary School, no INEC staff were present when visited. Prospective voters accused INEC of frustrating their efforts to obtain PVCs ahead of the 2027 general elections.
