Ghana and India have discussed strengthening cooperation for diplomatic training between their respective foreign service institutions. The matter was raised during a meeting between Ghana's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto, and India's External Affairs Minister, Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, during his first official visit to Ghana on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. The two ministers discussed enhancing cooperation between Ghana's Foreign Service Institute and India's Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service to facilitate diplomat training and the exchange of perspectives on common diplomatic and multilateral priority issues.
