President Donald Trump has offered the position of White House press secretary to Katie Zacharia, a senior communications advisor at Trump Media and Technology Group. Zacharia, a frequent cable news presence, would replace Karoline Leavitt, who left the role in August to spend more time with her children. A White House official confirmed the offer to Business Insider. Zacharia did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
