Senator Abdulaziz Yari, Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, has stated that President Bola Tinubu is confident of winning over 20 states in the 2027 elections. He also claimed that opposition candidates Peter Obi of the Nigeria Democratic Congress and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the African Democratic Congress do not control any state outside their regions. Yari made these remarks after meeting with President Tinubu at the State House, where they agreed on a timetable for state visits. The APC campaign organization will be inaugurated on October 14 and flagged off in Kaduna on October 24.
