Former Vice President and Presidential Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar, has accused President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of copying his production subsidy model. Atiku made the allegation on Friday at the inauguration of the ADC Presidential Campaign Council in Abuja, reacting to the Federal Government's 30-day fuel discount announced on Thursday. He claimed that Tinubu copied his production subsidy proposal but stripped away the part that makes it work, handing Nigerians only a 30-day discount. Atiku also said he was glad Tinubu had finally acknowledged the failure of his approach, recalling that he had offered to share his economic relief plan with Tinubu in the national interest.
