Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has praised the documentation of the 217-year history of the Zazzau Emirate as a significant contribution to historical scholarship. He spoke at the presentation of a book titled 'Emirs of Zazzau – A Biographical Study, 1808–2025' in Zaria. The book documents the lives and reigns of the 19 emirs who have occupied the Zazzau throne since 1808. The event was part of activities marking the sixth anniversary of the Emir of Zazzau, Mallam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli.
