Division has emerged within the organised labour movement in the Federal Capital Territory over the ongoing strike by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) FCT Council. Wike described the strike as politically motivated. The Trade Union Congress has instructed its members to ignore the strike, while other unions have taken differing positions.
