A mother of three, Lauratu Sani, has taken her former husband, Muhammad Shehu, to a court in Magajin Gari, Kaduna State, seeking custody of their children and N450,000 monthly for their upkeep. The defendant's lawyer, Fatima Umar, told the court that the ex-wife has no time for the children. The case was reported by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
