The Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) Secretariat has donated medical equipment and essential items to the Adult Cancer Hospital at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH). The donation includes 10 blood pressure machines, 15 pulse oximeters, 15 thermometers, 20 bedside chairs, 10 cardiac tables, and five medicine cupboards. A refrigerator, a 55-inch television, an electric kettle, and other items were also provided. COMESA Assistant Secretary General Dr Dev Haman said the donation reflects the human face of regional integration. UTH Chief Medical Superintendent Dr Paul Kanfwa commended the donation.
