Ari Emanuel said a conversation with Elon Musk about artificial intelligence helped inspire his move into the live events business. Speaking on David Senra's podcast, Emanuel said Musk told him live entertainment could not be disintermediated by AI. Emanuel said he first contacted Musk after reading about his electric car venture and that the two developed a relationship. Emanuel launched Mari, a live events and experiences company, last year.
