2027: Makinde vows one-term presidency, challenges Tinubu on fuel prices

The presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement, Seyi Makinde, has pledged to serve only one four-year term if elected in 2027. He promised a transitional government of national unity and challenged President Bola Tinubu to publish the Federal Government's petroleum pricing template. Speaking at the APM North-East town hall meeting in Yola, Adamawa State, the Oyo State governor said Nigerians deserved relief from economic hardship and the right to know how fuel prices were determined. He accused the Tinubu administration of failing to deliver on key promises, including electricity supply and alternative fuel policies.
