Two buses conveying supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State were involved in a road crash in Lafia, Nasarawa State. The supporters were loyal to Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) George Akume and were travelling to attend the North Central mega rally. The accident occurred near Government House Junction on Saturday morning. The spokesperson of Akume’s APC camp in Benue State, Dan-Morgan Ihomun, confirmed the accident but said nobody died, adding that some injured supporters were taken to hospital for medical attention. The First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, is expected in Lafia to attend the rally.
