An analysis by the Pew Research Center has ranked Nigeria as the sixth-largest recipient of United States foreign assistance in the 2025 fiscal year, with approximately $728.8 million disbursed. Ukraine topped the list with nearly $6.7 billion, followed by Israel with $3.31 billion and Jordan with $1.65 billion. Ethiopia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo were the fourth and fifth largest recipients, respectively. The figures, published on July 21, 2026, cover disbursements from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025.
