President John Dramani Mahama inspected two newly built Community-Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compounds in the Ahafo Region as part of his #ResettingGhana tour. The facilities, located in Ahyiaem and Nsuapemkrom in the Tano North Municipality, are fully equipped with medical supplies and residential staff quarters. Speaking at durbars, President Mahama stated that the projects are part of a broader policy to expand universal access to healthcare and were funded by the District Assemblies Common Fund. He directed all MMDCEs to construct two CHPS compounds, two classroom blocks, and a 24-hour economy market in their districts.
