Yoruba nation agitator Sunday Adeyemo, known as Sunday Igboho, has called for a stronger national alliance between community-based security outfits and conventional security agencies to combat kidnapping, banditry, and other violent crimes. Igboho, founder of the Iru Ekun Security Network, emphasized the need for closer cooperation among security stakeholders to protect lives and property, share intelligence, and tackle criminal activities, particularly in the South-West. He commended Inspector-General of Police Tunji Disu and other security heads for their support of Iru Ekun. The call was made in a statement issued by his media office on Saturday after a strategic meeting with the Commissioner of Police.
