Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with King Sultan Ibrahim of Malaysia at the Malaysian National Palace in Kuala Lumpur. An official reception ceremony was held, which included the playing of national anthems, inspection of a guard of honor, and a 21-gun salute. President El-Sisi signed the palace guestbook and greeted members of the Malaysian official delegation as well as Arab and African ambassadors. He expressed pride in making a state visit to Malaysia and appreciation for the welcome.
