Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, a former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, has reacted to the omission of his name from the final list of candidates cleared by INEC for the 2027 governorship election in Gombe State. Pantami, who resigned from the APC in May and defected to the PDP, assured supporters that efforts are underway to resolve the issue, describing it as a temporary challenge. In a statement signed by Professor Suleiman Mohammed Gombe, he urged supporters to remain calm and hopeful, insisting the omission is not final.
