JUST IN: PDP’s Adebutu Missing from INEC’s final Governorship List in Ogun

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released its final list of governorship candidates for Ogun State, which does not include the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Ladi Adebutu, and his running mate, Yemi Sowunmi-Kolapo. The list, signed by INEC Secretary Rose Oriaran-Anthony, contains 13 governorship candidates and their running mates. Among those included are the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Solomon Adeola, and his running mate, Kudirat Abiodun Balogun. Jimi Lawal, an ally of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, was listed as the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
