The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has cleared Chinda, an ally of Wike, amid an eligibility controversy. Chinda was listed as the fifth candidate among 19 names published by INEC on Saturday. The clearance comes despite questions surrounding his eligibility. The list is part of preparations for the 2027 elections.
