Paris Saint-Germain secured a 3-1 victory over Le Mans in Ligue 1 on Saturday, despite resting several key players. Lucas Beraldo gave PSG the lead with a first-half penalty, but Louis Mafouta equalized for Le Mans nine minutes after half-time. Substitute Khvicha Kvaratskhelia restored PSG's lead on 61 minutes, just two minutes after coming on, and Maghnes Akliouche sealed the win seven minutes later. The result moves PSG up to fifth place ahead of their Champions League trip to Manchester City on Wednesday. In other Ligue 1 action, Monaco were held to a 2-2 draw at home by Toulouse, missing the chance to go two points clear at the top.
