The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the final list of 16 governorship candidates for the 2027 election in Oyo State. Among those cleared are APC candidate Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, APM flagbearer Abimbola Adekanmbi, and Accord Party candidate Abdulrahman Oriyomi Hamzat. The list, released on Saturday, October 10, 2026, also includes candidates from the ADC, NDC, and PDP, among others. The development sets the stage for a multi-party contest for the Agodi Government House.
