Nicole Ethridge, a 39-year-old finance worker and influencer from Southern Maryland, experienced hair loss after the birth of her daughter in 2007. She was diagnosed with traction alopecia and began wearing wigs to disguise the problem. Unable to afford a $13,000 hair transplant in the United States, she flew to Turkey for the procedure and regained her confidence ahead of her wedding next year.
