The National Rescue Movement (NRM) governorship candidate in Enugu State, Engr. Dr. Christopher Ndubuisi Okonkwo, condemned reported attacks on supporters of a fellow governorship aspirant. He called on security agencies to investigate the incidents and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice. Okonkwo expressed sympathy for those reportedly injured and their families, stressing that political differences should not prevent citizens from participating freely and peacefully in the democratic process. He urged the Enugu State Government and relevant security agencies to investigate the reported incidents and establish the facts.
