INEC omits four parties from Bauchi 2027 governorship list

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) published its list of governorship candidates and running mates for the 2027 Bauchi State election on its official website on Saturday. The list contains 15 candidates seeking to succeed Governor Bala Mohammed. Candidates from the Social Democratic Party, New Nigeria Peoples Party, Action Alliance and Accord Party were omitted from the published list. Parties whose candidates appeared include the African Action Congress, African Democratic Congress, Action Democratic Party, All Progressives Congress, All Progressives Grand Alliance, Allied Peoples Movement, Action Peoples Party, Labour Party, New Nigeria Democratic Congress, National Democratic Party and National Rescue Movement.
