The Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Nasarawa State has welcomed the listing of its governorship candidate, former Inspector-General of Police Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The party said the listing has eased uncertainty surrounding its participation in the 2027 general elections. The campaign organisation stated that it remains focused on engaging voters and promoting its plans for security, job creation, and youth and women's empowerment.
