Former Kaduna Central Senator Shehu Sani has advised candidates excluded from INEC's final list not to waste their money challenging the decision in court. INEC released the list after its Chairman, Prof Joash Amupitan, said the commission had received complaints from parties and aspirants regarding the Supreme Court judgement on eligibility. The Supreme Court had affirmed the constitutionality of certain sections of the Electoral Act 2026 and upheld INEC's revised timetable for the 2027 elections.
