The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Kano State has explained that the omission of its governorship candidate, Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, from the final list released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was due to a computer error. The party's Public Relations Officer, Yusif Fasaha, said INEC had assured the party that the issue would be resolved. The final list contained 17 governorship candidates but did not include Gwarzo's name.
