Seminar on workplace safety in Southern Red Sea Region

The National Confederation of Eritrean Workers branch in the Southern Red Sea Region, in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare branch, held a workplace safety seminar on 8 October in Assab. The seminar targeted workers of the Marine Products Corporation of Eritrea and covered workplace safety and health, occupational safety concepts, and labor management. Mr. Husein Khalid, head of the confederation in the region, briefed participants on the rights and obligations of employers and workers regarding occupational safety and health. Mr. Ali Isa, manager of the Assab branch of the Marine Products Corporation, commended the efforts of the National Confederation of Eritrean Workers.
