Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr has apologized to teammates and fans after being sent off in a 1-0 victory over Villarreal. The red card came after a VAR review determined he pulled Villarreal defender Nathan Saliba's hair during the build-up to a disallowed goal. Vinicius, who came on as a substitute in the 52nd minute, was dismissed about 20 minutes later. He now faces a possible suspension that could rule him out of the upcoming El Clasico against Barcelona.
