Ladi Adebutu, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Ogun State, has said his exclusion from INEC's final list of governorship candidates raises serious questions. He noted that all other PDP candidates for House of Assembly, House of Representatives, and senatorial positions were listed, except him and his running mate, Yemi Sowunmi-Kolapo. Adebutu said he will pursue the matter through appropriate channels and insist on due process. INEC's final list contained 13 governorship candidates, but the PDP's Adebutu and Sowunmi-Kolapo were missing.
