Ladi Adebutu, the Ogun State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has assured his supporters that there is no cause for alarm after his name was omitted from the final list of governorship candidates released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). In a statement posted on X on Sunday, Adebutu said he completed his digital party registration within the stipulated period and submitted his documentation to INEC before the deadline. He maintained that he remains a duly registered PDP member and has not left the party. Adebutu also stated that the party's governorship primary, which produced him as its candidate, was conducted with INEC officials present as observers, and that the relevant documents were presented for verification.
