The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed surprise at the decision of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to remove the names of its governorship candidates in Ogun and Gombe states from the final list of contestants for the 2027 polls. The names of the party's Ogun and Gombe candidates were omitted from the list. The PDP is challenging INEC over the omission.
