Former United States President Donald Trump has announced a Russia-Ukraine energy ceasefire. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in an interview with Axios, said the announcement was news to him but that Ukraine would agree if Russia also agrees. Zelensky asked for clarification on when the ceasefire would begin, stating that Ukraine is ready and will accept it if Trump negotiated it with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
